Just because our API can fetch something does not mean you are allowed to use it. Copyright, the source platform's terms of service, and your local laws all still apply. If you are downloading content you did not create, get permission first or stick to the platform's official share and embed flow.
What we collect during tool usage
When you use our downloader or processing tools, we temporarily log your IP address, browser info, and the URL you submitted in order to complete the request. This data is used only to process and return your result. It is automatically deleted within 24 hours with no exceptions. We do not store what you downloaded, where it came from, or who requested it after that window closes.
Things break
Third-party APIs change without warning. A downloader that worked yesterday may return an error today while we ship a fix. We aim for under 6 hours of recovery time on the major platforms, but we cannot guarantee it.
